Founder Trent Sizemore joined the landman ranks in January 1981 working for Post Rock Oil Company, a brokerage out of Billings, Montana.  He was contracted to Post Rock for three years before having to search out work in Denver market due to a downturn in the business climate in Montana.  Working different projects in the next few years, he traveled and worked in Colorado, Wyoming, Iowa, Michigan and Montana.  Finally in 1989 he took a job working the Medina Sands play in Western Pennsylvania.  The next five plus years he worked on behalf of his client procuring leases, curing title, acquiring ROW and settling damages on drillsites, roads and pipelines.

In 1994 the ticket ended in Pennsylvania and Trent went home to Montana to continue his work there.  He worked for numerous clients through the next year and a half before deciding to start his own company.  In the fall of 1996 he started Lonewolf Energy, LLC and in January began a large Abstracting project that got the company on its feet.  Lonewolf incorporated in 1997 and carried on to work for numerous clients throughout the following years.

During its life, Lonewolf has worked various projects in many capacities.  Lonewolf has extensive experience in the following areas:

Trent has been fortunate to become associated with numerous team members that have vast and extensive experience in many facets of the land business.  Lonewolf team members have over 200 years combined experience, some as far back as the 1950’s.  The negotiation skills of our group are by far well recognized as some of the best around.  We are proud to have the team we have and can field experienced people with confidence on any project.  Lonewolf’s staff is also complimented by a trained technical group that can provide maps and data in several different formats that can then be utilized by our clients in reports and meetings.
